Student Dry Ice Experiment Monroe County has put into action what others have only put into words.  The commitment of school officials, county officials, and community residents is to provide outstanding educational opportunities at all levels and for all students.  This initiative has created a brighter, better future for everyone in Monroe County. 
The Monroe County Schools work to build a strong educational program demonstrating pride, tradition, and academic excellence.  The high expectations we have for all students in Monroe County are shown by our belief that all students can learn and succeed more than they presently do, and our job is to help them do so. Students with Volunteer The uniqueness of Monroe County Schools lies in the seamless connection between our schools and the community.  By working together in a strong partnership, students, educators, parents, local businesses, government and community take pride in supporting all educational programs in our district.

Monroe County lies in the heart of central Georgia, conveniently located to both Atlanta and Macon.  It is a thriving community with Georgia Power Plant Scherer, the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, and the Georgia Department of Correctsions as part of our community.  Forsyth is the county seat with other communities of Smarr, Juliette, Bolingbroke, and High Falls.

Monroe County offers its residents a unique setting - a small town atmosphere in which to raise a family with easy access to large city amenities.
